Celebracíon VIP 11 de Abril

Mass Media 7 students are exploring marketing techniques and determining what techniques are being used to sell products and services.

A cross grade level group of students worked to create a group sculpture with guest artist, Selena Medellin.

In art, students are learning how to build with coils and that an artist's work can be influenced by their heritage from guest artist, Selena Medellin.

In art, 3rd graders started a unit titled: Animal Studies. We discussed point ot view and how it affects what you see and don't see. After picking a favorite animal, they looked up photos of their animal. They had to pick 3 different points of view (top, side, front, back) to include in their drawings. This lesson helps the students with the next lesson in the unit, creating an animal in clay. Having drawn their animal from different views helps them sculpt the animal in 3D more realistically.
