Health Services
Le Sueur-Henderson Public Schools employs one full time licensed school nurse who has the responsibility for health services that are provided for all students and staff at Park, Hilltop and the M/HS. In addition, secretaries provide first aid, medication administration or nursing activities under the direction/delegation of the licensed school nurse.

Meet Your School Nurse
My name is Mary Hirn. I am a Registered Nurse with the MN Board of Nursing. I have been practicing for 36 years in a variety of settings, including general surgery, occupational medicine, emergency and intensive care. My family and I have recently relocated back to the area and are excited to be here.

I look forward to getting to know the students and families in the Le Sueur-Henderson School District, and will do my best to provide care and promote health and learning for your kids.

Health Service Goal

Our goal is to maintain, improve and promote the health of all school age children. We strive to advance partnerships among families, communities and schools and to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all students. We ask that students and parents/guardians keep us informed of any known health conditions that may result in an emergency or require assistance during the school day.
